I have to admit, I am one of the dumbest persons on this earth! I took out a loan with Western Sky out of desperation to get caught up with car payments and other bills back in 2011. They were nice at first, but it just seems that it is never-ending. This is, without a doubt, a PREDATORY LOAN!!! I have paid them back7,000.00 and received a write-off letter after I closed my account last year due to calling them to see what my pay-off was, and it was still more than I borrowed – they want 14,000.00 from me!Well, after not hearing from them for many months, I just got a phone call from Connecticut this past Thursday. They told me I had 2 complaints stating I wrote a bad check! They gave me a court case # and said I need to go to court in South Dakota, and they were serving me papers at work on Thursday, November 6th. However, I said “please bring them to the house, I was off of work.” So I went to speak with an attorney. He told me it sounds like I am being sued. Basically, I do not plan on ever paying them any more money. I am not going to South Dakota to court and they did not say where this was. I am not going to jail. I waited all day at work on Friday to be served. Nothing happened. They wanted 2,700.00 from me immediately last week Thursday, November 6th. After all is said and done, if need be, I will file bankruptcy!!!! This will go down in HISTORY! Stay away from all payday loans. Lesson learned here.

My loan started with Western Sky then Cash Call now Delbert. I borrowed $2600 of which I only got $2575.00. I have paid to date $7938.00. Of which most of my payment has gone to interest mostly. I think I’ve paid three times what I have borrowed. I’m almost done paying them I think, but hope they don’t spring something on me towards the end. If I didn’t have to pay anymore I’d stop paying them any more money right now. Is there really a way to just stop? If they have been sued why are they still in business? Can I stop paying them without them coming back and sue me?

Three years ago I borrowed $1500.00 from Western Sky. I was desperately in need of the money and had nowhere to turn to obtain a loan when I decided to give W.S. a chance. It was the best move I could have made. Yes, the loan was expensive, but I paid it off in the timeframe required – about $294.00 a month. I never received any drama with this loan, and I received a confirmation letter from W.S. that the loan was paid in full. Unfortunately, I have moved twice since that loan and no longer have memory of the password I used nor the paperwork received. I would recommend W.S. to anyone in need of a personal loan with the means to make the payments.

I got a loan with Western Sky. Paperwork comes in the name of Cashcall. Then next thing I knew get calls from a company named Delbert and now another company named Meyers Group. I don’t know what is going on with this. I have paid and paid and still having to pay. This has gotten to the point of being the worst thing I have ever done. Does anyone know if this will ever end, or do I just let them take me to court and see what happens. I borrowed 2500.00 and I have done paid that much plus back. How much do these people want. Do they keep going from company to company so they can get more and more. I am almost ready to offer my blood. Can someone, anyone tell me what I need to do..

I was in a auto accident and we were not able to pay the loan. We tried to call and make arrangements and nothing became of that. We ended up not able to pay the loan. One day, some lady from another place representing Western Sky (Legal Rep) said if we did not pay that moment she will pick my husband up at his job and arrest him. I was off work for back surgery. She stated she was going to go to my job as well if she could not pick up my husband. She said if I didn’t pay $2000.00 right now then when my husband went to work 2nd shift that sheriffs would be there to pick him up and take him to Jail. Who would mess with people’s Jobs. Then I informed her I am off work and all I had was $1500 that was supposed to help me when I was off work. She took that and would not allow me off the phone till the bank processed the funds. Then she said she would email me a receipt.
I never received a receipt and I called her back and left a voicemail demanding a receipt. Never received a call back nor a receipt. For one, this against the law if she really wasn’t representing the Law and two to put such panic on me and my husband and empty my bank account. I believe she owes me and my husband compensation and so does this company. I understand they deserve their money but certain situations people can’t help if they were in a accident.

I have been fighting Western Sky/CashCall, and now Delbert, for reporting their illegal loans on my credit report when I refused to pay more than the principal after getting information from the Attorney General in my state. The credit bureaus refused to investigate properly.. Here is what actions got this removed.
1. File a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) against CashCall/Delbert & Western Sky. They are also currently suing CashCall. Your complaint will go on record and a settlement has not been reached yet.2. File another complaint with CFPB against the credit bureaus reporting this.
My credit was fixed in 2 days once I did this. Prior to this, the credit bureaus did not investigate properly or they would have seen that this was not legal to report a loan made by an unlicensed lender. Wish I had never used these people.

I obtained a ten thousand dollar loan in 2012 and paid $743 and some change a month. After a year and a half later I recently checked to see my remaining balance only to find out I still owe $10,500 and some change. I asked why is it so high and was informed that I was only paying the minimum and needed to pay more to get my balance down. I was sent an email by delbert services of the cost to repay the loan and interest rate. My loan went from western sky to delbert services without me knowing until I received a letter in the mail. I feel trapped forever in debt. I don’t know if I have to pay this loan back since I live in North Carolina. My advice to everyone, steer clear of this money racketeering money scheme.

I received loan from WesternSky financial on July 15, 2013 for $2600 and my first payment of $165 was due on August 1, 2013. But on the July 22, 2013 I received an email stating that my loan had been sold to Delbert services and that they would be processing my payment from this point. I was kinda puzzled a/b the transfer of my personal business so quickly. I never signed any document for Delbert services or emailed them any documents but they continue to take payments of $294.00 monthly. So after reading the reviews a/b cash call, WesternSky and Delbert services, I decide I needed to look into this matter more closely so my question is, have the state of TN file a class action suit against these companies?

I took out a loan with Western Sky in 2012 in the amount of $2,600 at an interest rate of 135%, with monthly payments in the amount of $295.00. When I contacted Delbert Services the company that bought the loan from Western Sky in January of 2014 I was told the loan balance was still 2800.00.

I took out a loan with Western Sky in January 2013. I have been paying $198.18 a month and yet my balance has not gone down. They transferred my loan to Delbert. However, I only wanted a $1500 loan and now I will have to pay back close to $4000. When I saw this commercial on TV, I thought it was a legit company but it was all lies and false advertising. It was suppose to be a short term loan. Am I required to pay this back considering all of the companies that are affiliated with Western Sky is being sued for banking laws? And I find it hard to believe that Western Sky was able to sell their loans off to other companies so they can still collect some form of commission on the original loans they gave consumers. So, they found a loophole to be able to still collect even though they ceased giving out loans.

My husband took out a $2600.00 loan from Western Sky, which went to Cash Call. @ $195.00 payment for the last two yrs, one would think it would be paid off. It’s not. We took a loan out to pay them off. Loan was overnighted. Of course they took our Payment out and no word of payoff or money back. We all need to start a class action lawsuit against Cash Call. When they would call us for no reason at all, Costco would come up on caller ID.

I took a 1500 loan from Western sky loan. They deposited 1000 into my account and kept the other 500 for fees. I just paid the loan off back in March of 2014. After all was said and done I ended up paying 4924.19. My loan started with cash call then went to Delbert. Annual percentage rate on this loan was 232.83%. I paid 198.19 on this loan for 24 months.
